|
The first activity that all schools got involved into was the contest for the best logo of teh project. All students got to work creating the logo by choosing the flags, mottos and pictures that might have represtented the project in the best way.
The partners of the project were asked to bring with them to Portugal the best logos created by their students. During the first visit, the contest took place. All the logos were presented and students along with teachers voted for the best one to represent the European project. The winning one comes from Bulgaria. |
Cooking book |
The second activity was to get ready for the visit to Italy. The theme of this visit was cooking and eating habits. All project partners were working hard on their recipies - the typical main dish and something sweet for a dessert. When meeting in Italy, all students had a chance to try out the recipies, cooking together in the kitchen. The specilaities we could sample are presented in the cookery book produced together by all partner schools.

The third activity was to create a calendar. This piece of work, regarding the traditions and festivals in our countries, presents the photos taken by students at home about their traditions and customs. In a competition the best photos were awarded and chosen for the calendar, in which every nation depicts two customs. An example page of the calendar: |

The next activity all project students were involved in was to create a film entitled "Who Am I?" This task was quite challenging and interesting at the same time as students themselves had to decide what they want to show to other students and talk about. Students created 24 films - four videos from each country. Four-minute videos presented students' families, friends, hobbies - everything that may form students' personalities and just the people / places or things that are important to them. All participants - 24 students and 12 teachers - voted for the best film and the winner of the contest was Iwona Brzostowska - one fo the Polish students. |

Educational games |
While being in Poland, students were to play educational games. The whole visit was planned around this topic - games in education that's why the whole project group took part in various workshops organised both in the city and at school.
Besides, each project partner was to design his own game to play in Bialystok. Students got so involved in playing that there was not enough time to continue the game. :-) The games showed a great originality and creativity of all the students - some of them made a boardgame out of the pizza box :-) |

The last activity prepared by all project partners was the final exhibition of the photos we took within the two years of the project. This time we met in a picturesque town in Germany where we could see how the same places, the same things and the same ideas can be seen through various students' eyes. |
